Research partnerships advancing our platforms

SofiaSante works with research partners to assess, validate, and advance its therapeutic and delivery platforms through staged translational milestones.

Delivery platform

CSIRO Kick-Start grant

SofiaSante Pharmaceuticals (Australia) Pty Ltd received a Kick-Start grant from CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, for research into its transdermal drug-delivery patch program. The partnership commenced on 3 March 2025 under the CSIRO Kick-Start Program and assessed the feasibility of SofiaSante's transdermal delivery approach.

CSIRO completed its scoping study in June 2025, concluding that SofiaSante's transdermal delivery approach is technically viable and suitable for further development.

Lead program

University Research Partnership, People's Republic of China

In January 2026, SofiaSante entered into a Research Partnership Agreement with a University in the People's Republic of China. The partnership supports the lead obesity program through in-silico design and access to a supercomputer for the in-silico design.

This computational work has progressed the program from initial design logic into large-scale sequence generation, computational enrichment, structural evaluation, and molecular-dynamics-informed prioritisation, now being used to identify a focused shortlist for synthesis and first experimental validation.
